$1695

A fine enameled cameo glass cylinder vase by Legras & Cie (aka Mont Joye). The sides are beautifully decorated with raised enameled violets worked in subtle tones of purple and white. The leaves and stems are gilt. Silver-mounted pieces of this sort are quite rare. The upper collar is worked in a pattern depicting violet buds and full blossoms alternating against a pattern of finely-veined leaves. The workmanship is superb and the unity of the silver and enameled patterns is quite nice. The bottom of the base is cut in a 16-point star pattern. The silver mounts are marked with the first standard stamp (950/1000 pure) and with an unidentified silversmith’s mark (HH separated by two axes).

Origin: France, ca. 1910. Condition: ecellent, no chips or cracks, no enamel loss. Size: 7-13/1" tall.

$495

An elegant Art Deco panel-cut crystal perfume bottle, the shoulder adorned with a band of cameo etched floral decoration in green. The style of the decoration is very geometric and provides a handsome contrast with the simple panel cutting. The lip of the bottle is overlaid in green glass to match the decorative band. The bottom is cut in a 24-ray star and the stopper is lapidary cut. The quality of the glass and workmanship suggest Baccarat as a possible maker.

$495

A pair of elegant Art Nouveau enameled Bohemian glass bowls with floriform decoration. The petals of a vivid pink flower curl up the sides and are interspersed with green tendrils. The flowers are echoed in the undulating rim decorated with a thin line of gilding. The overall workmanship is superb. This sort of decoration was produced by Theresienthal, Meyr’s Neffe, Lobmeyr or Fritz Heckert, and the quality of these pieces is consistent with any of those makers. Typically, this style is seen in goblets, but other tablewares such as these are more uncommon.

Origin: Bohemia, ca. 1895-1905. Condition: excellent, light wear to gilding at rim, no other enamel wear, no chips or cracks. Size: 3” tall, 4-1/2” diameter.

$295

A nice Bohemian mercury tapered columnar-form mercury glass vase, the sides engraved through a bright red flashing to the silver. The pattern depicts a bird nesting among exotic flower and foliage. The design is accented with applied white lines. The silvering is not in as good condition as one would hope, but the very bright red flashing and the generous size more than makes up for it!

Origin: Bohemia, ca. 1870. Condition: silvering loss as noted above, no chips or cracks, bottom seal lost. Size: 11-1/4" tall.

$450

A beautiful amber crystal perfume bottle, possibly by Baccarat, cut into a lobed pattern. The matching mushroom-shaped stopper is cut to match. The deep vesica cutting on the sides extends all the way underneath the bottle to form a star-cut base. The simple design, combined with the rich amber coloring and the very clear crystal, creates a very elegant appearance. The quality and style of cutting, as well as the quality of the crystal suggests Baccarat as a probable maker.

Origin: France, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 4-1/8" diameter; 3-1/4" tall.
