An elegant dress set comprising a pair of double-faced cufflinks and four matching shirt studs by Tiffany & Co. The 18K yellow gold set is worked in Tiffany's longtime classic "Button" style. The front faces of the cufflinks have stitches set with round-cut diamonds, while the back faces have the more traditional gold stitches. The shirt studs have diamond stitching, as well. Over the years, Tiffany has made only a few men's designs set with diamonds, and they are generally rather traditional in style. This set is a perfect example of how Tiffany has taken a classic and added tasteful sparkle. Each piece is marked "Tiffany & Co. 750". The set is presented in its original dark blue Tiffany velvet-lined box and the light blue outer box. This design is not currently in production at Tiffany, but 18K cufflinks and studs with the same diamond weight currently retail at $6,000.

Origin: America, ca. 1995. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: cufflinks, 9/16" diameter; studs, 7/16" diameter.

$695

A fine pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the "stirrup" style popularized by Cartier in the late 1940s. The cufflinks are constructed from a solid bar, finished at each end with interlocking arches. By pulling on the ends, the arches can be unfolded for each in putting the cufflinks through the cuff holes. Then, a simple flip up causes the arches to hold the fabric tightly together. Cufflinks of the sort are seen in a number of variations, but this is a particularly handsome pair. The bars are marked with French 18K gold hallmarks, and also with an unidentified maker's mark "GP".

Origin: France, ca. 1955. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: faces, 3/4" x 9/16". Weight: 11.5 grams.

An extremely fine pair of Art Deco cufflinks worked in platinum and 18K yellow gold. Each square face is centered with a gypsy-set old European cut diamond, and has square cut blue sapphires at each corner. The faces have pierced galleries around the edges and are attached to baton backs with chains. The outer surface of the batons are also worked in matte platinum. The geometric styling of these cufflinks is a very good example of early Art Deco.
