Very fine 18K yellow gold, platinum and diamond feather brooch by Chaumet, one of the world's most exclusive jewelers. Located on the Place Vendome in Paris, Chaumet was respsonsible for Napoleon's crown jewels, and has been a jeweler to the world's elite ever since. This brooch is fashioned in a loose ostrich feather design, the platinum shaft pave-set with fouteen round brilliant-cut diamonds, and the feather itself sprinkled with eight additional prong-set round brilliant diamonds. The diamonds are of very fine quality, estimated at H color, VVS clarity. The back has a double-prong clip often seen on high-level French jewelry. The back is signed "Chaumet" and has appropriate French hallmarks.Origin: Paris, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 2" x 1-1/2". Weight: 15.5 grams. Beautiful Mikimoto 18K yellow gold and pearl brooch. Opposing swirls of gold surround a cluster of five Mikimoto pearls, ranging from 5 to 6 millimeters. The quality of the pearls is excellent (estimated at AA quality), with very high luster and a bright white body color and rosé overtones. The back is marked with Mikimoto’s hallmark and “750” for 18K gold.Origin: Japan, ca. 1990. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-27/32” x 13/16”. Weight: 8.5 grams.

Gorgeous 14K yellow gold and pearl cluster dinner ring by Ming's of Honolulu. Ming's was known for the very high quality of gemstones in its creations. The company bought its pearls from Mikimoto and consequently pearl pieces such as this are always very fine. The seven pearls, ranging from 6 to 7 millimeters have bright white body color with silver overtones. This color combination is often favored by women with darker skin tones. Several engraved gold leaves are nestled between the pearls. The inside of the shank is marked "MINGS 14K".Origin: Hawaii, ca. 1960. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 7-1/4 (could easily be re-sized). Weight: 6.5 grams.

Elegant 14K yellow gold and pearl brooch in a modern bouquet design. The four pearl "flowers" are set atop golden stems that are tied with a swirling gold ribbon. Each pearl is 5.5 mm and has the wonderful white body color with silvery overtones characteristic if Mikimoto pearls. The nacre is thick and the skins are very smooth. The back is marked with Mikimoto's hallmark and "K14".Origin: Japan, circa 1970. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-5/8" x 1-1/8". Weight: 6.0 grams.

Very handsome 18K gold and steel cable cufflinks by one of the most important high-end contemporary jewelry designers, Philippe Charriol. Charriol rose to prominence working for Cartier before starting his own brand in 1983 with his “Celtic” line of jewelry. These cufflinks are part of the “Celtic” line and were intended to accessorize with Charriol’s now-famous cable watch. The toggle backs make these cufflinks easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Each end of the top faces are marked with Charriol’s logo. The backs are marked “750” for 18K gold. A more recent cufflink design from the Celtic line is available by special order at Charriol’s two American boutiques for $1,000.Origin: Switzerland, last quarter 20th century.
