Beautiful Art Deco crystal cocktail shaker cut in an elongated lozenge pattern through the cranberry overlay into the clear crystal underneath. The cutting pattern, combined with the unusual cinched-waste shape creates an interesting optical effect. The bottom is star-cut. The top edge of the shaker is finished with a silverplate collar. The flared shape of the silverplate lid nicely accents the rest of the shaker. The collar is hallmarked by an unidentified company.Origin: Europe, probably France, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, no cracks or dings. Size: 11-1/4" tall.

A very nice antique Chinese glass paperweight featuring a lampwork poinsettia. The bright red petals are arranged in a double row around a sulfur yellow millefiori center and are accented with a green stem and a pair of leaves. The Chinese copied this design from New England Glass Company paperweights of the 19th century. The glass in this example is relatively good quality, with only few small bubbles, and is considerably larger than many examples. The base is ground and polished concave.Origin: China, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks or significant surface wear. Size: 3-1/4" diameter.

The base has Val St. Lambert's engraved signature.Origin: Belgium, ca. 1930. Condition: no chips or cracks to glass; slight plating wear along the lower edges of the silverplate collar and a slight bend in the lip visible upon very close inspection. Size: 9-1/2" to top of handle.

Very fine 12-piece liqueur set. Liqueur or cordial decanters are much less common than the larger wine decanters. The Art Deco design features tapering panels of cranberry glass separated by straight clear panels. The necks of the two decanters and the stems of the glasses are highlighted with notch cutting. Teh bases are star cut. The stoppers, alo notch cut, have blown teardrops. The glass is of very fine quality. Unsigned, attributed to St. Louis.Origin: France, ca. 1920. Size: decanters, 12-3/4" tall; cordials, 5-1/2" tall. Condition: mint, except one cordial has what appears to be an internal stress crack (the glass is usable and the line is difficult to see and cannot be felt with a fingernail).
