A classic cut crystal cocktail shaker with silverplate mountings by Saint-Médard, one of France’s most acclaimed upscale makers of silverplate. The simple shape and decorative cutting looks good with any style barware or dinnerware. The crystal is quite heavy. The mountings are hallmarked by Saint-Médard. In it's near-mint condition, this shaker would make an excellent gift.

Origin: France, last quarter 20th century. Condition: nearly mint. Size: 8-1/2” tall.

Intensely colored amethyst glass inkwell finished with a gilt brass collar. The severe cubic form is relieved by canted, curved corners. The base is acid-stamped "Made In Czecho-Slovakia", indicating a date between the World Wars.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, no chips or cracks. Size: 2" x 2" x 2".

A very handsome cut crystal decanter in a most striking shade of green. The decanter, cut with vertical prisms, is very heavy and of the finest quality. The style is very similar to Moser’s post-war designs, and may in fact be by Moser, although it is unsigned.

A nice Art Deco cocktail shaker in cobalt blue glass with the traditional chrome top. The bottom has a polished concave pontil—always an indicator of quality glassware. The size is smaller than most shakers of this sort and is ideal for making a batch of just one or two cocktails.

A beautiful cut glass cocktail shaker by Val St. Lambert. The sides are cut in a geometric pattern of diamonds in vertical panels topped with elongated printies. The top edge is mounted with a beautifully detailed gilt bronze border and strainer lip. The bronze is enhanced with engraved acanthus leaf decoration. The bottom of the shaker has St. Lambert’s etched signature.

Origin: Belgium, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, original gilding intact. Size: 8-5/16” tall.

Very fine 12-piece liqueur set. Liqueur or cordial decanters are much less common than the larger wine decanters. The Art Deco design features tapering panels of cranberry glass separated by straight clear panels. The necks of the two decanters and the stems of the glasses are highlighted with notch cutting. Teh bases are star cut. The stoppers, alo notch cut, have blown teardrops. The glass is of very fine quality. Unsigned, attributed to St. Louis.

Origin: France, ca. 1920. Size: decanters, 12-3/4" tall; cordials, 5-1/2" tall. Condition: mint, except one cordial has what appears to be an internal stress crack (the glass is usable and the line is difficult to see and cannot be felt with a fingernail).

Beautiful cranberry-cut-to-clear glass decanter. The generously-sized bottle has terrific color and very nice quality cutting of hobstars, strawberry diamond, and notched prism motifs. The stopper has a blown teardrop and is cut in a matching pattern. The bottom is cut with a full hobstar. The neck and stopper are engraved with matching numbers (signifying that this is the original stopper). The bottom is signed in script.

Origin: Belgium, ca. 1930. Condition: mint. Size: 16" tall.

Very nice Art Deco glass cocktail shaker in an unusual globe form. The side is hand-enameled with a colorful prancing rooster. The shoulders and rim are decorated with gilt lines. The shaker has a hammered silverplated cap with a built-in cork-lined strainer.

Origin: probably Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no cracks or chips, decoration intact, wear to plating on cap. Size: 8-1/2” tall.

Lovely white overlay glass lamp base with enameled floral decoration. Gilding accents the edges of the cut facets. The opaque white overlay is beautifully decorated with swags of roses. The top of the lamp is finished with a nicely engraved collar that connects to the electrical hardware. The lamp has been fairly recently rewired.

Origin: Bohemia, circa 1910. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 10-1/4” tall (not including electrical socket); 5-13/16” diameter at base.
