$695

Beautiful Art Deco crystal cocktail shaker cut in an elongated lozenge pattern through the cranberry overlay into the clear crystal underneath. The cutting pattern, combined with the unusual cinched-waste shape creates an interesting optical effect. The bottom is star-cut. The top edge of the shaker is finished with a silverplate collar. The flared shape of the silverplate lid nicely accents the rest of the shaker. The collar is hallmarked by an unidentified company.

Origin: Europe, probably France, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, no cracks or dings. Size: 11-1/4" tall.

$225

A classic cut crystal cocktail shaker with silverplate mountings by Saint-Médard, one of France’s most acclaimed upscale makers of silverplate. The simple shape and decorative cutting looks good with any style barware or dinnerware. The crystal is quite heavy. The mountings are hallmarked by Saint-Médard. In it's near-mint condition, this shaker would make an excellent gift.

Origin: France, last quarter 20th century. Condition: nearly mint. Size: 8-1/2” tall.

$1,900

Very fine 12-piece liqueur set. Liqueur or cordial decanters are much less common than the larger wine decanters. The Art Deco design features tapering panels of cranberry glass separated by straight clear panels. The necks of the two decanters and the stems of the glasses are highlighted with notch cutting. Teh bases are star cut. The stoppers, alo notch cut, have blown teardrops. The glass is of very fine quality. Unsigned, attributed to St. Louis.

Origin: France, ca. 1920. Size: decanters, 12-3/4" tall; cordials, 5-1/2" tall. Condition: mint, except one cordial has what appears to be an internal stress crack (the glass is usable and the line is difficult to see and cannot be felt with a fingernail).
