Deep red lucite box, the hinged top inset with a round sterling silver plaque depicting two doves (very similar to a Jensen design). The inside of the lid is inset with a round mirrior. The silver plaque is marked "Sterling Des. Pat. 140,637." American, ca. 1930. Excellent condition. 4-3/4" x 3-7/8" x 2".
Six-sided, cobalt-flashed, lapidary-cut glass dresser jar with a gilt brass mounted top. The top has intaglio engraving of an elephant bedecked with a very ornate howdah. The mounting is marked "Made in Czechoslovakia." Ca. 1930. Perfect condition. 2-1/2" diam.; 1-1/2" tall.
