An attractive pair of Art Nouveau sterling silver cufflinks set with dyed green chalcedony cabochons. The faces are shaped somewhat like old-fashioned artists palettes, but have swirling whiplash curves typical of Art Nouveau designs. The bright bluish-green 5mm chalcedony cabochons contrast very nicely with the silver surfaces. The faces are connected by chains to torpedo backs. Tested and guaranteed silver. Origin: probably Germany, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 3/4” x 1/2”. Weight: 4.6 grams. |
