A beautiful pair of double-faced 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with blue sapphires by Carrington. Each rectangular face features a sugarloaf cabochon sapphire color-graded as very dark, strongly saturated, very slightly greenish blue. The surrounding gold faces are engraved at right angles to create a geometric motif that accents the squared outline of the sapphires. The faces are joined with chains. The backs are stamped with Carrington’s hallmark and are marked “14K”. Origin: America, ca. 1925. Condition: excellent. Size: 5/8” x 15/32”. Weight: 11.1 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 2.64 carats. |
