Outstanding sterling silver pin decorated in a Celtic knot pattern. Many of the leading Arts & Crafts designers in England worked with this motif. Although unmarked, this pin is possibly the work of Charles Horner. The reverse is marked “Silver”. The pin retains its original tube hinge, extended pinstem and c-clasp, and has a nice old patina. Origin: England, circa 1885. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 2-7/16” x 9/16”. Weight: 7.0 grams. |
