Lovely vintage signed Mikimoto brooch in sterling silver set with eight pearls, ranging from 5 to 6mm. The pearls are of very fine quality with white body color and a silvery overtone. The lustre is excellent, as should be expected of Mikimoto. The brooch is designed in a way that permits it to be worn either horizontally or vertically. The back is marked with Mikimoto's hallmark. Origin: Japan, latter half 20th century. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-15/16" x 1-1/8". Weight: 8.0 grams. |
