Very pretty sterling silver vermeil brooch by Kirk in the “Repousse” pattern. Kirk made a range of jewelry in this pattern, but very few pieces were finished in gold. The vermeil on this example is perfect. The detail of the design is very sharp. The back is marked with the hallmark Kirk used between 1932 and 1961. Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: nearly mint. Size: 2-1/2” x 15/16”. Weight: 18.5 grams. |
