Very fine pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with diamonds. The rectangular faces are divided into three segments, the middle parts featuring collet-set round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are estimated at F color, VVS1 clarity. The symetry of cutting and the polish is excellent. The backs are marked for Potter & Mellen, the finest jeweler in Cleveland. The company's founder was one of the first jewelers in the U.S. (along with Louis Comfort Tiffany) to work in the Arts & Crafts style. Origin: America, ca. 1945. Condition: excellent, all original.
