Terrific Gorham silverplate figural jigger in the form of an early American leather fire bucket. The front side is enameled “Vigilant Fire Company No. 3 1817” and shows two crossed firemen’s parade horns. The back side is modeled to show the leather handle. The bottom is marked “Gorham EP YC3098 CAP 3oz.” We’ve had many figural shot glasses over the years, but this is only the second of these we’ve ever seen. Origin: America, 1930s. Condition: excellent, no wear to enamel. Size: 2-3/4” tall. |
