Lovely late Victorian "good luck" pin in the shape of a golden wishbone surmounted by an enameled shamrock centering a seed pearl. Brooches such as these were popular gifts, perhaps as going-away presents when "good luck" was an appropriate sentiment. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold. Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no enamel damage. Size: 1-1/8" x 11/16". Weight: 1.5 grams. |
