Very nice pair of Norwegian sterling silver double-sided cufflinks, the faces enameled in translucent medium blue. The silver beneath the enamel is engraved in fine parallel lines. The engraved lines in each band are set perpendicular to each other so that the color of the enamel appears to change when viewed from different directions. The connectors are marked “925S” and signed “Norne”. Origin: Norway, ca. 1950. Condition: very good, light surface scratching from normal wear, there's a tiny dark spot underneath the enamel on one face (much worse in the photos than in reality). Size: 21/32” x 1/2”. Weight: 8.0 grams. |
