A lovely sterling silver bonbon dish formed as two scallop shells joined by a curved handle. The design is less naturalistic than some shell-form dishes and shows a clear linear Art Deco sensibility. The dish could be used for candies, nuts, olives, etc. The bottom is hallmarked by Concord Silversmiths. Origin: America, 1925-42. Condition: excellent, no dings or monograms. Size: 9-3/4” x 5” x 2-1/8” tall to top of handle. Weight: 163.5 grams. |
