A handsome Art Deco 14K yellow gold man's ring. The stepped crown features a one-carat square-cut blue sapphire in a millegrained collet setting flanked on either side by a round mixed-cut diamond. The stones, nicely colored and with good clarity, are set in white gold layed over the yellow gold. This color combination, as well as the angular, stepped crown contribute to the overall geometric Art Deco shape of the ring. The inside of the shank is marked "14K". Origin: America, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent. Finger Size: 10-1/2. Weight: 6.0 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: sapphire, 1.0 carat; diamond, .2 carat. |
