A lovely Edwardian cut glass dresser jar with a sterling silver and tortoise shell lid. The tortoise has very nice markings and is inlaid with a wreath and ribbon design in silver. The jar itself is cut in the “Harvard” or “Cane” pattern with a star-cut base. The rim of the lid is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1907-08 and has an unidentified maker’s mark “L & S”. Origin: England, 1907-08. Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks or dings. Size: 3” x 2-3/8” x 1-1/2” tall. NOTE: This item cannot be shipped outside the United States. |
