An elegant Art Deco bracelet comprising nine plaques joined with double rosette links. The cast plaques are decorated with an ornate floral pattern and are richly gilt. Each is collet-set with a squared cabochon chrysoprase. The milky green color of the gemstones is very nice against the dark gold of the gilding. The clasp is marked with Hungarian silver hallmarks, and the back is marked “Made In Hungary”, indicating the piece was made for export to the U.S. Origin: Hungary, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, gilding intact. Size: 7-1/4” long. Weight: 27.0 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 12.6 carats. |
