A lovely Victorian brooch in 10K yellow gold and set with seed pearls and a brilliant round-cut amethyst. The amethyst is prong-set well above the surface of the brooch to create a sense of depth. The gold setting is nicely detailed with fleur-de-lis motifs between the points of the pearl-set starburst. Tested and guaranteed 10K gold. Origin: America, ca. 1890.
