An attractive pair of Art Deco sterling silver cufflinks with gilt and enameled decoration. The center of each oval face is gilt and accented with plaid line engraving. The centers are edged with royal blue champleve enamel bands which are, in turn, finished with a beaded border. One face of each link is hinged for ease in putting the cufflinks through the cuff hole. The connectors are marked with Norwegian hallmarks and also with the Swiss import marks used 1919-34. Origin: Norway, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, all original, no enamel damage. Size: 3/4" x 1/2". Weight: 7.0 grams. |
