An interesting blown glass hyacinth vase in a strong green color. The squat shape with a widely flaring base is very attractive. The vase was mold blown and the bottom has no pontil. Forcing hyacinths and other bulbs indoors was popular throughout the 19th century and into the beginning of the 20th century. Origin: America, ca. 1910. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 4-1/8” tall. |
