A very nice Retro Moderne 14K yellow gold ring set with an imposing 23.2-carat lemon yellow emerald cut citrine flanked by four natural ruby cabochons. The split shank with a cage setting grasps the citrine only at the corners, so the entire surface of the ring appears to be solid gemstone. Tested and guaranteed 14K. Origin: America, ca. 1945. Condition: excellent, all original. Finger Size: 8-1/2. Size: citrine, 19mm x 11mm. Weight: 13.0 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: citrine, 23.2 carats; ruby, 1.16 carats. |
