A very elegant pair of Art Deco 18K white gold and blue sapphire double-sided cufflinks. The round faces are decorated only with incised concentric rings in the strictly geometric sensibilities of Art Deco. The old European-cut sapphires are set above the faces in high collet settings. The stones are have an intense cornflower blue color. The faces are joined by chains. The backs are stamped with French hallmarks. Origin: France, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 17/32” diameter. Weight: 6.5 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 1.03 carats. |
