A beautiful amber crystal perfume bottle, possibly by Baccarat, cut into a lobed pattern. The matching mushroom-shaped stopper is cut to match. The deep vesica cutting on the sides extends all the way underneath the bottle to form a star-cut base. The simple design, combined with the rich amber coloring and the very clear crystal, creates a very elegant appearance. The quality and style of cutting, as well as the quality of the crystal suggests Baccarat as a probable maker. Origin: France, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 4-1/8" diameter; 3-1/4" tall. |
