A very handsome pair of Victorian 14K yellow gold cufflinks by Alling Bros. The square faces are collet-set with square cushion cut amethysts of very nice color and clarity. The gold borders are beautifully engraved in a floral pattern. The faces are joined by solid connectors to the bean backs. The connectors are stamped with the hallmark for Alling Bros. Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: faces, 5/8” x 5/8”. Weight: 7.0 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 4.04 carats. |
