A beautiful enameled 14K yellow gold pansy brooch by Larter. The petals are elegantly decorated in rich opaque shades of purple, cream, yellow and black. The enamel has the velvety texture that many of the Newark makers used especially for enameled pansies. The petals are centered with a 10-point round cut diamond. The back retains the original pinstem, safety clasp, and fixed pendant bale. The back is stamped with Larter's hallmark. Origin: America, ca. 1910. Condition: excellent, no enamel damage. Size: 1" x 1". Weight: 6.5 grams. |
