An elegant dress set comprising a pair of double-faced cufflinks and four matching shirt studs by Tiffany & Co. The 18K yellow gold set is worked in Tiffany's longtime classic "Button" style. The front faces of the cufflinks have stitches set with round-cut diamonds, while the back faces have the more traditional gold stitches. The shirt studs have diamond stitching, as well. Over the years, Tiffany has made only a few men's designs set with diamonds, and they are generally rather traditional in style. This set is a perfect example of how Tiffany has taken a classic and added tasteful sparkle. Each piece is marked "Tiffany & Co. 750". The set is presented in its original dark blue Tiffany velvet-lined box and the light blue outer box. This design is not currently in production at Tiffany, but 18K cufflinks and studs with the same diamond weight currently retail at $6,000. Origin: America, ca. 1995. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: cufflinks, 9/16" diameter; studs, 7/16" diameter. |
