A very nice South Jersey glass frit paperweight. The set-up reads “Merry Christmas And Happy New Year” in whit frit, surrounded by a white frit wreath tied with a bow and appearing against a translucent cobalt blue ground. The glass is of very good quality with excellent clarity and weight. The top of the crown is faceted with a large flat octagonal printy surrounded by smaller printies angling toward the bottom. The flat bottom is fully polished. Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-1/2” diameter; 2” tall. |
