A handsome pair of Art Deco gilt silver cufflinks, the ends decorated with engine-turned engraving in a pattern of lines and dots. The faces have a concealed spring mechanism that allows them to be pulled out and then flipped up to hold the cuff tightly in place. The cufflinks are fully hallmarked with the board’s head guarantee mark and an unidentified silversmith’s mark (GP flanking a cross). Origin: France, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, gilding intact. Size: 5/8” x 3/8”. Weight: 13.5 grams. |
