A handsome pair of vintage 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the “stirrup” style popularized by Cartier in the 1950s. When being worn, only the chain link sides of the cufflinks are visible, with the solid bar passing through the cuff hole. Stirrup cufflinks were made a various forms, sometimes set with small gemstones, but the chain link style are the most classic. The cufflinks are fully hallmarked with the “tete d’aigle” stamp for 18K. Origin: France, ca. 1955. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1” x 13/16”. Weight: 11.1 gr. |
