An unusual Art Deco silverplated jigger by in the form of a handbell by Napier. The sides are engraved with the recipe for two classic cocktails—the Manhattan and the martini. The interior has a metal clapper so the jigger actually makes a ringing sound as the last of its contents are poured out. The bell is mounted on a mahogany handle. Marked “Napier”. Origin: America, ca. 1935. Condition: excellent, no plating wear. Size: 6-1/2” high; 2-15/16” diameter. |
