An attractive strand of white jade oval beads with a gold clasp by Ming’s of Honolulu. The beads are nicely colored with a very, very slight lavender overtone, and have moderate translucency. They are of the type frequently seen in Ming’s pieces. The elongated oval shape of the beads is very pleasing. The 14K gold clasp is simply decorated with a bit of engraving, and is marked “Ming’s 14K”. Origin: Hawaii, ca. 1960. Condition: excellent. Size: beads, .35” diameter; overall length, 16.5”. NOTE: We are also offering a brooch and earrings featuring jade drops that exactly match the beads in this strand. |
