A pretty late Victorian sterling silver demitasse spoon, the terminal and bowl decorated with plique-a-jour enamels. The transparent design is worked in shades of red, green, light blue, cobalt blue, pink, and yellow. The back of the stem bears an earlier David Andersen hallmark (1888-1925). Origin: Norway, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no enamel loss. Size: 4-7/8" long. Weight: 8.5 grams. |
