A very handsome and fine pair of vintage baton-style cufflinks, the faces comprising bars of tiger’s-eye held in place by gold bands bead-set with brilliant-cut round diamonds. The tiger’s-eye is well-marked with strong chatoyancy (cat’s eye effect) and a nice mix of honey and brown tones. The diamonds are of fine quality, estimated at G color, VVS clarity. The connectors are stamped with an unidentified maker’s mark and also “18K”. Origin: America, ca. 1960. Condition: excellent. Size: 13/16” x 7/16”. Weight: 14.2 grams. Approximate Total Diamond Weight: 1.0 carat. |
