An attractive 1960’s 14K yellow gold cocktail ring featuring a 6.95-carat oval mixed-cut citrine. The scalloped setting has Florentine finish that contrasts nicely with the gemstone. The citrine is graded as medium-dark, very slightly brownish orange; good cut; and very slightly included. The ring has been sized. Marked “14K.” Origin: America, ca. 1960. Condition: good; the stone shows some abrasions at facet junctions and the shank has some wear, both consistent with age. Finger Size: 7-1/4. Weight: 6.2 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 6.95 carats. |
