A nice pair of vintage cufflinks made from a pair of tiger's claws in 9K yellow gold settings. The setting, with only a scalloped edge along the top and a bead at the tip, is a classic design. The backs have toggles. Marked "9Ct". Claw jewelry became popular after Queen Victoria's ascension as Empress of India. Such items remained popular throughout the remainder of the English colonial period. Origin: England, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-1/16" long. Weight: 5.1 grams. |
