A very handsome pair of mid-century 21K rose gold cufflinks featuring a well-matched pair of antique cushion-cut colorless quartz (rock crystal) gemstones. The quality of the gemstones is very high, with eye-clean clarity. The color is so white that it begins to take on just the hint of a bluish tone. The stones are set with split prongs over an attractive undulating gallery. The torpedo backs are toggle-hinged. The connectors are marked with Soviet-era hallmarks for 21K gold. Origin: Russia, 1956. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 5/8" x 1/2". Weight: 9.8 grams. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 15.94 carats. |
