A classic pair of French silver cufflinks in the stirrup (“étrier”) style popularized by Cartier during the Art Deco period. The steeply arched silver bands are engraved on the bias with slightly undulating parallel lines. The hinged closures are invisible when being worn. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked for silver and also with a jeweler’s mark. Origin: Paris, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent. Size: 3/4” x 15/16”. Weight: 9.5 grams. |
