A beautiful pair of 14K yellow gold Etruscan Revival surmounts suspending teardrop shaped prasiolites, the green version of amethyst. The color of the gemstones is the palest green and they have a very nice luster. The surmounts, decorated with beaded wirework, hang just below the earlobe allowing the gemstones to move freely for lots of movement when being worn. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold. Origin: America, surmounts are ca. 1880 (gemstones are later replacements). Size: 1-3/4" long from top of earwire. Approximate Total Gemstone Weight: 29.0 carats. |
