A very fine cat’s eye chrysoberyl stars in this classic man’s ring. The stone has good translucency and pronounced chatoyancy (the cat’s eye effect) that creates the very desirable “milk and honey” color contrast. The interior of the shank is stamped “10K.”
Origin: America, ca. 1960.
Dimensions: cabochon, 13.7 x 11.4 mm; 5/8” wide at crown, tapering to 1/8” at the back of the shank.
